I'm somewhat new to taking these high end pics. I'm getting a new Digital SLR for x-mas an was wondering what kind to get. I can post pics i have taken recently but they were done with a Sony 7.2mp with the Carl Zeiss lens.

Im more of a canon guy myself but ive been using a Sony h7 point and shoot which for a point and shoot it takes some good shots, so i wouldnt dout that the sony A100k would be a very nice camera!

Seriously though, read through that post that EGkid posted. It answers your question. If I had to summarize it: Go to Best Buy, hold each of the cameras and see which one you like. Then go home, and join the Canon bandwagon because everyone and their brother has one. :lol:
