so i looked at this supra yesterday, i guess asking price was 13k
not sure what was done to it but it did have alot of work..tons of electrical tuning equipment
it was a NA-T conversion 93k mile, rebuilt title.
i looked at the car fax and the car seemed to jump around abit from owner to owner after it was totaled and rebuilt.
the dash looked like it was not installed right, the body lines did not match up the rear quarter panel sounded like it was filled with bondo, paint looked like single stage, the rear quarter window looked like it was installed with caulk and
i didnt even get to start it or drive it and i offerd him 8500..was that too low?
i mean the car is project through my eyes and i would have dumped more money into the car but when i get bored of it i would have about 20k in to a car with a rebuilt title seems like a poor investment to me but what car is not a poor invest ment..lol
what would you guys have offered?

 

i probly would have offered him 8000, or 8500 at the most like you.

 

i wouldnt waste my time...there may be a lot of hidden issues

Ive seen too many rebuilt titles working at a new car delaership.Your jaw will usually drop when you look underneath if you can raise it on a lift.

 

rebuilt title, 100k mile, 93 toyota supra.. um, well I wouldnt buy something with those specs anyway lol. but maybe 3-4k

they say it has a built tranny, it actually has a n/a tranny that hardly works. yeah...dont buy that one. also he did alot of n drops with it and beat it to hell. he tore it up!
