Don't use heat wrap on your new turbo. The turbo i got from you, I found out yesterday, right when you left, that the exhaust/turbine housing had a crack. There are welding repairs made in it's history. Whoever repaired it is dumb, or just want a quick temporary fix. When metal items are cast, it's basically unrepairable. On my inspection, the cause of the crack is due to overheating. You had a heat wrap on it when we meet. Garrett's engineers didn't spend thousands of dollars in designing and molding a inlet/outlet coolant, so it would've been more effective in keeping the turbo cool to use to run coolant lines instead of a heat wrap.
I regret buying this turbo.
