I may have the chance to work a deal with a guy on another forum whos selling his d80 body with 2 highspeed 2gb cards, i wireless remote, and a best buy warranty still.

hes asking 940, but i told him i'd give him my d50, plus like 500. the camera is in near mint, if not mint condition and now i need to weight it out against spending 500 to upgrade to something like this that will for sure last me a LONG time and stay with me, or get my coilovers for the civic...

Do some research on the D80 metering issue debate before making the plunge. Lots of people say it underexposes pics randomly. I haven't had personal experience with it, just passing along what I've read on other forums.

I like the advantage of being able to trigger off camera flash with iTTL. I like the higher megapixel count. With those two things being said, I don't use off camera flash enough and I don't print big prints often enough to justify the upgrade.

I realize it's not an option but for $950 I'd buy a used D200 rather than a D80.

I went to 3-4 differant shops. 100-120. private sells you never know. but i sold mine for 300. with lens, and other misc stuff

the d80 would come with no lenses. just what i stated.

my lenses are the kit 18-55, nikkor 55-200, and my sigma 10-20 (which i paid 580 for haha)

but yeah i think i'll just stick it out with the d50, it does me plenty fine and i can take just as good pics (its all about the person :D )

i think i'll still probably get the coils, i just wanted to see what everyone thought...thanks!

the car can wait. im starting to get over messing with cars. sad yes, but more wise of a decision? For-Fucking-Sure. lol

the camera and lenses may be able to take me places (like investment wise), the car can literally GET me places, but it wont necessarily "TAKE" me places (in life)
