First, this was a huge challenge and I was not happy really overall with the shots I got and the amount especially since it was from 10 am till about 5 pm

I will try, there is one coming up soon. I dont know if I will do anymore of these full 150 mile road rally ones. Im going to try it one more time if I can and plan it a little better. Its hard cause you gotta be at a spot for a bit and catch as many cars as you can, and hopefully have a faster route figured out and get to a different spot before they do. It was a lot of driving, getting dusty and being eaten by mosquitos all day long. In fact im sure I killed about 50 of them.

And Yup, thats Charles in the Saabaru. He took 2nd overall.

Your car AWD? put some stock springs back on it and sign up for a driver. I can tell you this is the one time were id rather be a driver for sure, they all had so much fun especially during the optional part that wasnt timed for points

those were all pretty much street cars. The Celica was a FWD car, along with the sentra and 200sx, though I think they didnt do the optional hard aprt with the thick sugar sand. Only 1 car got stuck and that was a Miata on performance street tires, and he only got stuck due to second guessing and stopping when he should have just put the gas to the floor

The next event is a shorter Tarmac only rally, on January 26th we just have the basics figured out but it should be another blast with some Good BBQ after.

The Rallycross on december 22nd should be a great photo oppertunity. East bay speedway is a great location and as the last event photo's showed a bunch of fun. Come out and get dirty, even lowered cars will work.

I am curious to the rules and how it works. Is it on public roads under a maintained speed limit? Id like to come out to next time, especially if you do more gravel runs.

The Rallycross is done on a closed course with NO speed limit. it's an all out against the clock mini Stage Rally.

GOOD! so no whining and no excuses. I I gotta hear one more lame-ass excuse like "Real men race on the street" or I'm a Quarter Miler I'm going to rip my 36" CB antenna off Clockwork ornage and start beating the mutterer of such a comment profusly across the head, face, neck, and chest.
