went out and hung out with some of the faster street cars. Everyone seemed to be running around the 700-1200 hp mark. While were setting mine up for 800 or so. Just so depressed watching all these cars and have nothing to run. Been so busy at the shop and other things, there seems to be no time to work on our personal projects. :(

Being around others will get you motivated

You'll get there...most of those guys probably had someone else doing their work for them so their cars are done much quicker.

At least you have steady work and can be stashing cash away. I have the opposite issue, alot of time but no huge reserves of money so it's gonna be slow going for me too.

moneys not really and issue. I have between the rearend cage fuel system computer and trans about 4-5k left. Time is the issue here

Time is an issue for me too man. I want to get this thing running before my car becomes a classic!

LMFAO!!! Dude, just think about how offten these cars even grace us with their presents. For the most part it's only seasonal for one, and if it just happens to be up and running during that time period as well. Average nite the top cars are in the 5's....Just stay in when the cooler weather comes around and claim your car doesn't react well to the cold ;)

Seems like 700 is the benchmark anymore. Amazingly considering 5 years ago 400 was good !

the kb gt isnt all that fast. I mean it barly beat a car that was running 7.30's. So its maybe running low 7's. If were talking about the same one. Black gt with Finest Performance on the side. Sams lexus rides the fuck out as well as the blue tt cobra.. but from what I heard from mofo it was having a boost leak issue.

I dont see how your comparing a 1/8 mile race to a roll race, thats neither here nor there. That kb gt is a decently quick 2v its not FAST but its not SLOW!

meh then they need to learn how to setup there cars correctly and how to launch them.. On the old setup I was able to dead hook outta the hole spraying a 175 shot.. Granted it was only making 550tq and 450 to the wheels it was still dead hooking on the street.

Thats the problem people dont set theyre cars up correctly mostly due to lack of funds and daily drivability

build a car from the rear forward and you wont have traction issues...but thats not the norm...big motors and stock suspension= spin as in no traction...

getting the front aligned on the snake...cant wait to drive with two more cylinders!!!!!!!!! genuim...the best!!!!!!! thanx guys...

I don't think your talking about the same GT since i've seen him dig and it has no problem getting off the line spray and all....From what i hear it's about 6 to the ground if you'd like to call that a just or not is up to you but it deffinately gets down dig or roll.
