so how do you "erase/fade" away part of the pic? this is like one of the few fads i havnt quite caught on to yet

julia!
11-26-2007, 01:25 PM
it's a cool concept.

i'd like to see it with animals or humans. create a skeleton. like a bird.
could make for some awesome pictures.

DSM Dave
11-26-2007, 01:30 PM

skunkdSiR
11-26-2007, 03:01 PM

Exactly, its a fad. And its getting played out because too many people do it now. I wouldn't put too much time and energy into trying to learn it. You can get the attention you need without this technique.

^^ you got it.. i just wanted to see how it would turn out with a point and shoot.

i did that pic in like 5 min

Michael.

i know it is all that, but i just like to know how to play around with layers and learn silly little stuff like this. like back in the day when selective coloring was cool and stuff too...(which can actually still make a nice pic when done correctly!)

i know now how to lighten, and darken in photoshop, but do not know how to do any shading, what program are you useing?

skunkdSiR
11-26-2007, 06:54 PM
im using photoshop 7.0 <-- old school right there

what kinda shading are you talking about?

DareDevil
11-26-2007, 06:56 PM
Dont get me wrong, i like it, I use to do it all the time, along with other things. It gets time consuming and not worth it.

Photography is not about how good you are in photoshop, although thats what its becoming.

Hers some of my editing...
