What did you plan on attempting to see if they mate up?

 

Well 92si told me to go to the mazda dealership and get a head gasket then go to kia and get their head gasket put up to each other and see if they match.

 

you know youre killing with this. mazda is ford owned and gm is taking over kia. do you really think there is going to be a common bond between them? go ahead and try to match them up.. but they wont... but good luck

just to let yall know the 1.8 dohc motor in the sephia is the same motor that mazda uses in their protege (my car) its also in the escort gt the mercury tracer and who knows what. the only diff between my motor and urs is the injectors wiring harness and intake manifold.

Well I checked cars.com and the 96 Protege has the same exact specs as my car. DAMN IT. Im all confused now. I need some money so that I can test out somethings. Anybody wanna chip in?

 

so you guys are saying that the 96 mazda protege engine is the same as the kia sephia engine. hey epic i have some extra cash to spend. want to help me out on some parts to test to see if they work in our engines?i was wondering if the pulleys that i found on nopi would work? they are for the mazda protege.i am confused just like you hehe
