who all are running m/t street et radials

just wondering how you guys like your et streets, i just put some on my baby yesterday and i am not sure how much i like them. i got them because i needed a nice sticky tire at the track and figured they would hlep on the street too, but i was wrong and right lol. they hook up better than regular radials but my car still breaks loose ( not talking about a dead stop, i am talking abot if i stab it a 45-50 roll) is this common or not

what psi you running..most run 12-16 psi in them at the track..any tire with 35lbs of air in them on a car with power will break lose.

I love mine... but beware, once you go to 14-16 pounds at the track and really start to hook on prepped surfaces you WILL break stuff....at least wear things out alot quicker than normal.

I am experiencing that exact thing right now. And yeah, 30+ pounds of air will mean you are spinning.

ive got BFG drag radials, but i run either 12 or 15 in them ( i cant remember) going down the road the car wallows a little but not much.

LIKE SAID ABOVE... U NEED TO BRING EM DOWN TO APPROX. 16PSI AND THEY DO REQUIRE to be heated for max grip/traction!!! (approx. 100-125deg for the track!) Mine are GREAT! on the street... Keep in mind... They are not made for street 100% ... Steet legal, YES! but breed for the guy who can drive to the track then back home! w/o switchin to a full slick and having launching traction of a slick (or pretty close)... At the track is NIGHT & DAY comparison... My neck was thrown back and my frt felt as if lifted up at the track!!! BTW... that was slipping the clutch and 1st time at the track with the car gettin the feel)...It was Crazy! Mine break on the street when I dump the clutch but never from rolls!!! Just be sure to drive on em before stomping it... Let em get some heat 1st. Keep in mind the pavement and asphalt does have sand and dirty that also allow for poor tracking... Just my experience!

I run 18 daily and kept them there when I ran... I left em there on purpose for that exact reason...^^^ to allow the tire to slip a bit so nothing breaks!!! The wife was w/me and would not have been to happy being stuck out at the track...LOL!

We actually found that the ET Street radial tire actually works better on the street. But the ET Street drag tire will work with the proper air pressure and the proper heat in them.

the car in hand makes right around 500whp and 640tq but its becuase if a loose converter, and thanks for the info on the tires, i will just take it easy till i get to the track and let the air out and heat them up, but i must say they did hold better than regular steet tires, on those things the car was uncontrollable when u got on it from a roll

My car behaves night and day from street to strip...Keep us update when you released the beast on the track... 100% satisfaction and the car will launch and go straight hard out the box...If the suspension is set for it like mine... I was amazed my 1st time out on these rubbers compared to the street...Good Luck!
