Went to SCCA National PRO-SOLO in Ft Myers!

Yep I guess I was the only one that went to the SCCA ProSolo national tour in Ft Myers this weekend. NO I didnt race (Wanted too) but did see some action! All I can say is that PRO SOLO is the Shit. Its like Drag Racing in the twisties!!!! I WILL BE RACING NEXT TIME!!!

I was there too!

My car was the silver Subaru Impreza 2.5RS #19-STS I ended up third in my class. (Which was pretty good considering this was my first ProSolo event and 1st & 2nd place was won by National drivers!).

I really enjoyed the head-to-head style of the event my best 60 foot time was a 2.1 not to shabby! :D

For those who are really interested the next ProSolo event closest to Florida is May 5th & 6th in Petersburg Virginia. :eek: Im going :)

There will be another ProSolo in Ft. Myers next year the Ft. Myers event always starts the new ProSolo season.

hey opie! this is the guy sideways slidin silver miata from all the local autocrosses... you pulled a 2.1? not bad for an AWD.. my best so far in the miata has been a 2.29... i trying to work it down.. missed ya at the last sunriders course though..where were ya?

Ive been entirely to busy at work lately so I had to miss the last Sunriders event.

My 60ft times were ranging between the 2.1 (fastest) and 2.4 (slowest) not to bad for holding it at 4K and then spinning all 4 off the line! Luckily for me there was a lot of rubber down on the launch area that let my tires spin a little instead of bogging the car down like usual when the traction overpowers the horsepower.

I should be at the next couple of SCCA events maybe even the Sunriders! :)
