Well it was hot as hell on sat. and it was packed. Each run I had to wait 20-45 mins to make a pass. The track was hooking due to all the damn rails and pro stock running.
Pass 1 Pass 2 Pass 3
.734 .779 .834
2.001 2.13 2.05
8.69 8.75 8.64
82.64 83.68 84.21
13.40 13.41 13.26
no mph? 105.85 106.48
I did have another pass but the damn guy gave me the wrong slip...15.3@??? WTF?
For having street tires they were hooking pretty good. I couldnt get a good cool down cause after every pass I ended up going right back to the staging lanes. Oh well next time Ill definately ice the engine.

Yeah its ok. Drove to and from church with no problem not quite sure what the problem is though. I doubt its the ignition control module its only two months old and it has a lifetime warranty on it too. Ill figure it out soon.

So would you say the new owners have improved the facilities yet? How was it different better or worse?

From what everybody said at the track the track was prepped great. The bathrooms are MUCH better. Theyve got the whole crew from Sunshine working the staging lanes now too so everything is more organized. Overall DeSoto has changed for the better.

So what youre telling me is that the track is actually clean it hooks and that the bathrooms are cleaner than a homeless mans bunghole? Wow! See that wasnt so difficult was it?

Oh cmon the Civic was running DOTs why do you need slicks? I think that was our very own cxcivic that you got humbled by.

Just our od curiosity whatcha got done to that 98 cobra? Thats pretty friggin quick means you probably took the time to break it in unlike all these trash auto magazines who race ahandbuilt engine with less than 100 miles on the clock.

No it wasnt Neal. This civic had a turbo ls motor with a t3/t4 hybrid and a 50 shot

Thanks Ugly Jeep. I just have basic bolt ons and a 4:10 gear nothing special. But I am looking for a set of cams. Yes as far as w/ the break in I didnt romp on it till about 2k miles then from there out full synth oil.Im trying to get into the 12s N/A & street tires only. I figure another 20hp should do it. Quick that civic must of have 8-9 wide slicks and skinnies in the rear. Believe me his purging was pretty loud.

Het Bitemark How hard are you launching?
Ive seen the same NA Cobra at Bradenton several times and seen him go 12.20s but hes running slicks and coming out at about 6000- 6500. Its a pretty brutal launch but Im sure youd go 12s with tires and a hard launch.

Is that the same red civic w/spray that goes to sunshine. Ive seen him go 7.40s at sunshine before and that was in slicks. I heard he has no mph which is why hes only doing mid 12s in the quarter. Once I get my new nittos I would like to run him on either track. Im sure I can improve on my 7.5 at sunshine. it should be a good run.
