1/8 times for an EX

i raced at sunshine tongiht for the first time and ran a best 11.1 -- i have a 96 ex with exhaust and a temporary rigged up intake. any other exs have 1/8 mile times? is 11.1 bad. it was my first time racing and i think i can get into the 10s with practice..its not like those are impressive numbers but its an improvement. thanks

Thats not that bad of a time. With some practice you may be able to get it down to 10.8 1/8.

for a civic ex that is a good time. did you have full interior and those 17s on. i live in clearwater if you want to race email me i still have stock motor same mods as you minus vtec my time at sunshine 10.00@70mph man did i want 9s

yea i had 17s on...wanted some smaller rims but didnt have enough time to put them on.intake is now off. 10.0 ... thats a good time. i think i have a few pounds on ya though.

i will not be able o make it to desoto on the 28th swap yes finally. but my 1/4 time was an 15.5@88mph with sohc motor

hey crx yea im gonna be up there next week. i usually park on the pit side. i dont think im gonna race though but that would be cool to meet up. what time do you usually get down there? i head down there around 5:30-6 but i live in palm harbor so its takes me alittle bit to get down there.

my car is stripped the new sis weigh like 2600lbs and i was running really good tires zr rated. the only other mod i have is a 91 si tranny witch has a bigger clutch than an 89.anyway the post was about knowledge112 time not mine i was just given him a compairison.

I didnt think those times were possible either. My best time was 10.2 1/8. I havent found a SOHC non v-tech to beat me that is stock. It should be impossible. The car only has like 90lbs of tourqe. It shouldnt be that fast unless headwork or something but I cant doubt him. It could happen.

thats BS. I run 15.7s on a 55 shot i/e there is no way in hell ure CRX is running that wo sigificant upgrades.

mark think what you want just remember you cars weight heavy 4 door family car and my car 2 door tin can is stripped no carpetnothing but metal behind the two seats. the time is legit i put a rs akimoto intake and a full catback thermal exhaust. the guy i bought the car from said he chipped the ecu but i have never checked it so i dont claim to have it but i have see many trips up 7600rpm. mark what model do you have the is it the special edition

15.5 is decent but my friends crx ran a 14.7 on the motor about two years ago then he decided to go to hybrid status. So yes that time can be easily beat. Oh I hope some of you are showing up at the track tonight so I can show you what a sohc can do. By the way thats 1/4 mile times
