Waiting for the coldest day in winter? I am. I hope you are too because we all know even a few degrees can help out our track times!

How does everybody think the cold weather will affect their quarter mile times??? I hope to drop at least one tenth making my time a 14.9.

Whenever the coldest day is Ill be at the track. Hope to see you there.

While intake temperatures dropping helps hp it does everything to the traction - as in taking it away. Youll usually get better ETs in the summer months and higher MPH in the colder months as a general rule.

I have foudn that going on Saturday afternoon (sometimes bracket races) in the winter is very nice.....the sun tends to heat up the track to the point where traction is betteR but if it is too cold john is right tractions sucks. Try and go on a night high 50s-low 60s. and you better hit a damn 14.9 in your teg Apex. I somehow managed a 14.4 outta mine. If I would have had it for winter and some descent tires (possibly 555s) it would have been a nice 13.8 or 13.9 .......look foward to racing you guys in the winter.....hopefully some of you will realize that track conditions matter more than tempeture and will come up and race at a good track like orlando rather than that shithole they call desoto.

I love the Tampa site for good B.S. wish I was around the area so I could get in on some friendly racing with you all...or as is said in Kentucky yall.

Friday night here is supposed to be 56 degrees out... Just hope we dodge the rain so my dodge can hit 107 again!!!... but more than likely just street tires and looking for sub 14 and 104. traction is an issue.
