and i dont think 4th will be reached... you should be able to just enter a little earlier and have better angle in the bank with boost.

some people that 'slide' the bank are so on the edge of no angle that you dont realize the difference wont be much more speed, but a little bit more speed but a lot more angle.

I've been posting on sfldrifters.com about making dvd's for both spectators and drivers of either just one car/driver or the whole event for cheap since I love drifting and these events but I need to justify spending the money to go out there myself (plus I'm sick of Ramen). I'm a professional video productionist and I work for JD Enterprise Media and the Prize Fight Network (Video Production,Videography,Editing, Weddings, Sporting Events - Palm Beach, FL (http://www.jdenterprisemedia.com)and Prize Fight Network (http://www.prizefightnetwork.com) respectively). You can visit sfldrifters.com for more info, but basically I'm offering three options:

DVD of just you (or your driver) on every run both practice and qualifying for $25
DVD as above but with a photo montage I'll shoot before, after and a few during some runs for $35 (realize thats hours of extra editing and normally I work for a minimum of 55 per hour!)
A DVD of the entire event, possibly two depending on how much great footage there is (I bet there will be more than enough!) for $35

I will only go to whichever event has more people that want dvd's though so pm me on sfldrifters.com or send me an email to drewbagd@yahoo.com to let me know you want one! So far, county line has 3 more drivers that want dvds than Desoto! I have friends going to both so make the decision for me.

I've got professional equipment from the sony vx2100 (read as $1500.00), my cannon rebel XT with great lenses (read as $1300.00) to Avid editing software (read as $1000 iirc), you wont see me out there with a little jvc handheld and a disposable! Advice on not getting sucked down. I have only been on the bank 1 time. That was at osw... I defintely got to get my ebrake fixed for the turn into the infield!!

if you plan to enter max points/man method its clutch kick. if you are going to ebrake it dont make it obvious (ie dont hold ebrake for more than 1/2 a second?) and you will lose a little speed doing it. try both. whatever makes you more comfortable do it.

Thanks for the tips dude! Yeah wrecking the car would kinda suck. Well having to tow it all the way back to live oak would anyway... I am not trying to get a license or anything. this event just falls within my schedule. I doubt my ebrake will be working good enough to use t anyway. lol!

Btw I dont know if you have a hydro ebrake in your car. But I was looking on ebay at hydro ebrakes and noticed they were kind of $$$ So I got to thinking about my old dune buggy......They have a hydro brake levers 2 as a matter of fact. So I looked on ebay and you can buy them for around 70-80 bucks! And they are all pimp and billet and shit.
