has anyone tried the $20 "drift springs" on ebay? they are the ones that have the threaded collar for adjusting ride height.are these to stiff or to soft or are the spring rates anywhere close to similar name brand springs designed for my 97 prelude.i know preludes dont drift by the way.

Dont waste your time and money on cheap ebay springs. It will only ruin your entire suspension, and you will spend more money in the end. Buy the proper things. You get what you pay for! Just my .02

i highly doubt these springs are shot peened, therefore i wouldn't put them anywhere near my car

fatigue life is extremely minimal in that respect, therefore it wont matter if they are soft or hard, they will be broken

dont cheap out on stuff man, do it right or go home

just my .02

i was not going to buy them unless several peaple had all good things to say.i would like some suggestions from other prelude owners on a good set up.ihad an 86 rx7 with suspension techniques springs and kyb agx shocks and loved the feel of them.i dont want to be let down by springs that are to soft.any info would help.

I Had a 99 lude and ran Skunk2 Racing spring with KYB agustable struts and a spc camber kit(MOST IMPORTANT PART)and could easily outrun sportbikes in corners
