Went Thursday night --- several nice foxes running low 7's.

One fella put down 5.76 @ 123mph --- nice notch = "Calhoun Plumbing"?

4cyl. 'Ricans, diesel pickups and... :crack: crazy idiots/ huge round-ones on 120mph 4 wheelers ... whew!

Track was good, great weather, lighting and THE lights were working fine.

Rumor has it, Roy is finally commited to growing the raceway. Large event scheduled for Dec. 1-2 with $$$

Had fun - met faces to voices I knew from work, and forum folks from Need2Speed and elsewhere.

Ya know, I've been a little annoyed with the whole Lakeland strip opening, closing, turning into a sled pull, closing, opening again etc. but I have to admit, I went out there Thursday night and it seemed different!

It appeared as if track officials were more concerned with track conditions than I have seen I've seen there in a while! I did notice the new tree and the scoreboard was working too.

I hope it stays that way! :)

I'm just getting this Fox Body thing going (4 of them, now) and soon will be going down the track :)

Can i now see it in a sentence as well as a definition? lol

I feel you though, always nice to check out what you'll be doing in the near future while experiencing a bit of down time. GL with the build.

That's how the north lakeland boys pronounced it ...

Yep, I'm sponging all the data I can with hopes of at least one nice runner. Ran heavy FE powered stuff in the 80's --- my boys have converted me into ...

I've never been to Lakeland D/S :dunno: If they're going to keep it up to par, and running well - I'll have to bring Frankie over there sometime (next year  )

Gotta love how even Ford owners don't ride Ford's dick. They just take it for what it is and utalize it to the best of their abilities. When was the last time their was a thread about how the 5.0 is God??? lol Oh well, i still got love for all them Chebby and Pontiac guys with their LS1's.
