Bollea Faces Criminal Charges

Published: November 7, 2007

Nick Bollea, son of famed wrestler Hulk Hogan, is making arrangements to turn himself into Clearwater Police on a warrant for reckless driving involving serious bodily injury, said Clearwater public safety spokeswoman Elizabeth Daly-Watts.

Bollea will be transported to the Pinellas County Jail when this happens, Daly-Watts said.

Maybe Pinellas county will be harder than Hillsborough, hell there you can kill your passenger and walk away w/o consequences.

someone on TF posted other charges

In addition to Reckless Driving Involving Serious Bodily Injury, Bollea is also charged with:

Use of a motor vehicle in commission of a felony
A person under the age of 21 operating a vehicle with a breath-alcohol level of .02 or higher
illegal window tint

"Because of what happened to John, the entire Bollea family will make it a priority to increase public awareness about the importance of always wearing your seat belt."

WTF. That's like saying that it's the dress that makes you look fat... Yes, maybe it would have helped, but it would have also helped if they were doing 60+(thats a joke too) in a congested area!

I'd buy this if they were preaching public awareness about the risks of street racing. The fact that they are preaching seatbelts tells me that they haven't learned anything.

This whole thing has turned into a joke...and I imagine his sentence will be on-par with the rest of this circus.

Good!!

Fucking asshole!!

Finally the truth comes out! Not only was he street racing, but he was drinking as well.....

Fucking douchebag!!

Where's all his ass kisser supporters now that beleived all his lies before and stuck up for him??

Throw his spoiled ass in jail!!

And a search of the PCSO jail info showed no record, so maybe he was not even booked in yet? It should be in there already if he was...

At any rate, at least some justice finally...

While we all know, that WHAT Nick did, was/is against the law, very few of us can say that they haven't done the same things ourselves. This is a car racing forum, and I can't believe that everyone who has/is bashing him hasn't broken at least some of the same laws Nick did. I'd say maybe some just hasn't been busted yet.

If people think he's a dickhead, then hell have fun, I don't know the guy nor do I care to. Some may think he's a spoiled punk, he may be for all I know. He may brag about whatever, but the bottom line is, if people are going to hate on him don't hate on him for things they know they've done themselves but when they do/did it, it's somehow justified (read: hypocrite).

As for John, I wish him and his family/friends the best and I am truely sorry for what has happened to him. As for blaming Nick, I don't think he intentionally wrecked the car, so maybe he sucks as a driver and everyone else is better then he is, but the bottom line is, I don't believe John got into the car and said, "man, don't get on it!" or anything remotely like that. If anything I bet he was probably egging Nick on to get on it. He also chose not to wear his seat belt, unless everyone thinks Nick forced him to not wear that as well, then in which case the injuries, may not have been so severe. Once again, that doesn't make things right.

I mean, how many times has a buddy of yours seen your car and asked how fast your car was and said, "man! you gotta give me a ride in that thing!" Let me guess, everyone would have answered, "Ummm no, come to the track and I'll give you a ride there" or something like that.... Yea, I doubt it.

What he did was against the law, and I don't believe any of us can say we haven't broken traffic laws, he just got busted. If something similar would have happened to a respectable guy on the boards, people would be singing a different tune.

Well, you don't know any of us either; me anyway; and I CAN say that I have never street raced and especially have not done so while drinking, let alone drinking under age. It was a series of stupid decisions on his part as well as on his parents part for enabling him as well as unfortunately on Graziano's part, as he decided not to wear his seatbelt. Now two young lives are ruined because of it.....

If he didn't have money, he would've been in jail a long ass time ago and never would have been in the news; instead, he's a rich, spoiled brat and has received special treatment and daddy has retained one of the best lawyers in town for him...a sure sign they knew he was guilty from the start...I care because I am sick and tired of the rich and famous getting breaks and buying their way out of trouble and out of jail....

Its hard to perdict about Pinellas, they may "make an example" out of him really depends on the judge. I deal with the court system eveyday, what a joke it is!!!!
As far as the DUI I think the laws should be a LOT stiffer, like the 1st time lose your license 5 yrs whether its 1 drink or 10!!! Thats why the drinking age was moved to 21, because at you SHOULD be a responsible adult

I think that by tacking on the tint charge, Clearwater PD is sending a message that they intend to make an example of him....hopefully the judge follows....

And I'm not sure how wanting to see justice done equates to jealousy.....

I dont think it does. I know I sure as hell wouldn't want to be in his shoes. Jealous I think not, but I know that when I was 17 and fucked around I spent 8 months in jail for being a dick head in a car. So when it comes to justice, if you have the money you can buy it, just ask OJ.

too much car not enough kid. Tough lesson. That lady that killed those kids walked and she fled the scene. If his boy dies charges will compound exponentially. If i crippled my best friend I would not care about what the law would do to me. I wish him the best and am gonna root for him (even if no one else does) to make better decisions. Sometimes the lesson that is learned the hardest is the easiest to remember.

I have had my mustang since I was 17. It may be far from 900 hp, but it still has some balls to it. I can honestly I hvae never raced anybody on the street. Many of my friends drive just like nick and I give them shit all the time.To many people die from stupid stuff like this.Hes just a rich kid that thinks he can get away with everything because daddy is hulk hogan. I hope he goes to jail. If not for his dumbass driving but for drinking and drivin.
