Would like to change all my speakers!

First of all the car is a Dodge Avenger 96... yea not too exiting... but its my daily driver and right now I only can listen to the radio as my CD player has a stuck CD inside and the speakers are just horrible... Now I think that on the front they are 6.5 in front and 6X9 in the back... I'm looking for speakers with great sound and none of that bass crap... just a pure great sound... so let me know what I should look for? I'm looking to spend no more then 200-300... and if you guys know of any good cd/mp3 players let me know as I need one also! Thanks!

your door speakers are 6 3/4 and your rear are 6X9. for the speakers........i dunno, infinity.

I would say Pioneer Rev 6.5s if you don't want to amp the speakers, they sound great off HU power. Those are ~100 shipped off eBay. For the HU I reccomend the JVC KD-HDR1 , it has built in HD radio and 3 pre-outs. They ~$150 shipped off ebay, or I think Toby has them for $200. That would be $250-300 right within your budget. I wouldn't worry bout the 6x9s at all, most cars you cannot hear the 6x9s in the front anyways. But if you really wnated to I would wait and do them later. BTW if you need an install send me a PM. I lowered the price down to 50 :(.

They still sound better than jessica alba's orgasm but I kinda need some money, and it doesn't look like they'll probably ever go into my car.

The 5 1/4's are now 25

I didn't bother changing the crossovers and tweeters because they're all exactly the same.
