I want it !
There are going to be less and less opportunites to buy a car like this ( low miles, stock, etc. ).
Seems like every year you hear or see a few deals like this come up and every year the price goes up !
To bad my wife has been out of a job for a month or so or I would really consider something like this. I mean think of what you get these days for a new $20k - $25k car.

Lets just say that something is only worth what someone will pay for it.... and there are many who would pay a lot more than 14k for the car.
As far as restoring one. I don't know if you've ever been in a original low mileage fox, then jumped into something that's been "restored" - but they are never the same. The value in this car is the collectibility. Would I buy it to drive it everyday or because I wanted something fast? nope.

i wish car comapnies would keep producing the same models for more than 6-8 years or so like they do.
think if ford never stopped making these, they could sell them new for like 14k and still make a ton of monay off of them. they already have the machinery etc, not to mention it is old technology, just update them to OBD2 computers and install the latest fedreal requirments for safety , ETC
i know if they still sold these new i would be driving one today.

Looks like 26k - I noticed a 0 feedback bidder. Wonder if someone was trying to F it up.
Stangerang - They made basically the same chassis for 25 years - amazing when you think about it.

true but why stop, look at 1st gen camaro's - chevy should start making those again with updated engines rather then spend a bunch of R&D on new models. everyone would buy one. instead we get the overpriced and shitty new cars
ford should stick with the fox and SN95's and make 2 classes of mustangs. have the high powered motors in the sn95 chassis and make a basic ass 5.0 engin in the foxes.
Buick should bring back the GN -
why stop after 25 years? why try to keep up with the Jap cars and still make shitty products in comparison.
stick with the good ole gitter dun cars!

plus what an ugly car. And you know it smells like bacon. eeeww steamy butsweat from a highway patrol, and a fox worth that. You could build a giant statue 10 stories high made out of fox bodies for that. gross
I'd buy it, make it a vert, tub it, and shove a LS7 under the hood. The whole thing would be documented for the SSP guys.

So 26g's for a V8 coupe? Whoop de do. Way over priced. I'd only pay 10k tops for it. There's nothing special about it. Came off the assembly line just as all the other bazillion coupes in that year. -Mark

Its obviously not "overpriced". Plenty of people are bidding on it.
You said it - "in that year". True, it wouldnt have been worth any more than any other NEW coupe "in that year". However, if you like the cars and you want a new one TODAY, your options are VERY VERY limited.

Too much money IMHO....nice find though. I think the 10-holes don't look half bad when they are not beat to shit, especially on a silver car.
