yes i did, and lets just say :-o :-o !!!!!!! camera died before we took the pan off, we'll just say that instincts are VERY VALUBLE !!!!! here's what i thought was the problem. ( lipping and dings in the piston. was also thinking blown COMETIC head gasket ), but after removing the pan, the piston is in GREAT SHAPE !!!! :lol:

Mitch whats going on in the next cylinder?? Why is there rust at the top of the bore and that piston (#5) is a funny color no??

actually thats #3, and yes there is rust (i beleive from sitting open) and the color is from my camera.

gonna start a "time for a new motor" thread... :lol: got pics with pan off... :-o
