My two favorites are the sunset and the Miller chill bottle. FYI these aren't straight off the memory card, I tinkered with them in Photoshop. No chance in a hell a P&S could do that ^^ lol.

Today is my schools carshow for homecoming week so you can expect to see those. (even if they are crapass cars;))

Not sure if it's still going on, but I got a 64" one from Bestbuy last week for $24.99

Edit: Well, guess it's no longer on sale. Here is one that is similar though and cheaper: click (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=5656293&st=tripod&lp=5&type=product&cp=1&id=1058188139756)

I just got back from Circuitcity and didn't get the Tripod. It was so small, it didn't even come up to my waist. Needless to say I didnt get it. I'll just pick up one off eBay.

Check out Amvona on eBay. They also have a www site, but they sell their products much cheaper via eBay. Slik seems to have some good deals too.

Tripods = universal?

AMVONA PRO PHOTO CAMERA TRIPOD KIT BALL HEAD AT-3050 - (eBay item 200170578753 end time Nov-12-07 12:00:00 PST) (http://cgi.ebay.com/AMVONA-PRO-PHOTO-CAMERA-TRIPOD-KIT-BALL-HEAD-AT-3050_W0QQitemZ200170578753QQihZ010QQcategoryZ30094 QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

Thats the one I'm looking into. Thanks for the information, its a cheap and better tripod than the one at circuit city.

Yeah, there are two size screws to attach tripods to cameras: 3/8" and 1/4". Most tripods come with both these days.

That tripod also has a quick release (QR) plate. You attach the plate to your camera and it slides in and out of the tripod. Much more convenient than trying to thread a screw into the bottom of the camera as you cam imagine.

Be aware that shipping is $17.50 though.

EDIT: I have my eye on the AT-3052. Completed auctions show these things going for very little.

Yeah I saw the shipping, with high shipping it's still cheaper than in stores. I wish I got one today, I just went to my school and videotaped the fireworks display. Homecoming week, yada yada.

Nice. Fireworks are fun to photograph. See the other active thread on this forum next time you get the chance to shoot fireworks.

LMK if you like that tripod if/when you get it.

If your talking about the christmas lights one, I saw your shots. They were kickass. I will probably decided on a tripod by tomorrow night. Chances are I will get that one I posted.
