printing pictures.

I'm going to be in an art show in the next week or so and Want to print out some pics about 8x10 or however big I can get them. I want to know a good place to get them done with out them making them look like shit or charging out the asshole.

any suggestions?

also I wanna put a few ina couple frames. nothing fancy. I'm guessing joanns fabrics would be the best way to do that huh?

Wallgreens prints pictures, I've had some done there and they came out decent IMO. I don't remember how much it was but it wasn't expensive.
I don't know if they have hobby lobbys in tampa, but if they do...check out the frames there, they're cheap and they have a wide variety.

in photography, ive learned that walgreens sucks balls for good shots. imo ive always gone to ritz camera to get my 35mm developed and theyve came out great. if you go in, just let them know that you need them done right for an art show.

Ritz or wolf camera shops are good places to go.

Also, why not look into a photo printer? You'll save money in the long run. Epson makes a good photo printer.

cool. I was thinking ritz but wasnt sure if they were too high rpiced or what. and I guess depending on if I do well at this art show I will look into getting a photo printer.

I've had major issues with Ritz poster size prints. I had two pictures printed for someone, and thehad serious horizontal banding. I asked them what the deal was and the sales guy told me that my camera didn't have the resolution to support a large print.

The camera used was a Canon SD750, which had more than enough resolution. In the end I didn't buy the prints from them. The bottomn line is that they're not a printer, they're a camera reailer. For last minute/rushed jobs you have to take what you get, but if you want something quality you need to find a real printer. In the end I found a place online that did them and they are superb.

erotica, I like film a lot. I have used nikon film ones before and agree they still look better but I stick to digital over the expense of film.
