My friend and I were coming home from work last night about 12:30 am down Sheldon. We were in his 96 Ram Air Trans AM. This maroon 240sx wouldnt leave us alone. We must have beat him 4 times before he did a ricer fly by on us. I thought the car would have been faster since he had all kinds of sponsor stickers on the fenders doors nismo across the windshield etc http://www.tamparacing.com/ubb/smile.gif

I work with that guyI just showed him the post and he said he will register and tell a different story of what happend. He says you kept messing with him and when he tried to race you around the big turn near sickles you guys just slowed down and wouldnt go. He made a right on Gunn Hwy and you guys just drove by. He says that yall never even raced heads up.

He also says you were hanging out the passenger window motioning like you were rowing a boat and he wasnt even racing. Your in a Ram Air Trans Am and your hanging out the window taunting a 240? ttt shame on you.

yeah thats my trademark. If he wasnt even racing then why was he at full throttle? By the time we got to Sickles we had beat him 3 times before he did the ricer fly by. I was gonna say something at the light but he turned right. We werent going to go out of our way for 160hp or whatever it makes. We let him start every race and we were still running a bus on his ass. We go that way every night including tonite so if he wants to try under his terms (whatever they may be) we will be more than happy to oblige.

REALLY! I am shocked and amazed!! What he needs to fill his bottle or something? Like I said EVERY nite we go through there. So if he feels like it well be there. He can even bring money if he wants http://www.tamparacing.com/ubb/smile.gif

yep Im just a dumbass ricer who brags about 85 hp cars. But I did order some stickers though. Actually Im still putting the motor together in my car but I can assure you I will embarass alot of people with this car. I hate to give out numbers because people tend to consider someone a dreamer but I will say that so far I have forged rods and pistons a fully ported big valve head from a dual spark plug ranger. An electromotive TECII set up for a rotary that will fire one plug per cylinder and then another at a set interval a T-64 turbo a C-4 3 speed auto with billet valve body and trans brake and a stainless steel header that reloates the turbo and the external wastegate. Im not some punk kid this project has been in the works for a long time (too long) but due to life work my house and the garage Im building it takes time. I have all the parts and the money to finish I just need time.

i would like to see that when its done. seriously. why did you choose ot go C-4 when you couldve gone with a T-5 or soemthing? i had an 85 GT that was pretty well built and after a while i tried the auto route (TCI C-4 w/ stage 2 shift kit and a 3000 stall conveter) and lemme tell you.. consistant yes... fun no.. the ratcheting got old

That should be interesting.. Ive never heard of a piston car using leading and trailing plugs. The only reason Mazda uses them is to make it idle better and clean up leftovers for emissions (helps with reliability too). Wont they have to fire almost the same time? The TECIIs are nice units I almost bought one about a year ago..

I plan on driving it quite a bit. I just need to finish building my garage before I finish the motor. It will be nice because my garage is getting a lift so it will make it easier. Im going with an auto because I dont feel a T-5 or tremec will last without pro shifting it which makes it unstreetable without constant rebuilds. Trust me I would love to row gears but my buddy has one that runs 7.80s at Lakeland in a full weight mustang with low boost and he constantly breaks T-5s. Im looking to go 9s in the 1/4 or as close as possible.

Well Im gonna try it and see. Honestly the spread will only be about 6-8 degrees but Im gonna run alcohol (and nitrous) so a long spark dwell should do wonders for the alky. I also got it cause it will run on a 4 cylinder or a v-8 so I can use it on my other project.
