one driver and one navigator enter into a battle of driving skill and Navigation prowess. there is no time for messing around. you can enter the rally. or you can keep pretending on your play station making blow-off noises with your mouth......

I have no problem, some people are made to ride the bench while others go home with the head cheerleader.

TRAP (Tampa Rally and Performance) Group Now has online registration open for the Richard burns Memorial rally. if you enter this rally early and register before the end of the month you will recieve a FREE 1 year membership to the club and discounted entry to future events.

Mike Go ahead and register a spot at the $40 price you can allways add the navagator name later. or change it.. this way you won't have to pay the extra $10

or there are a lot of people I talked to at QSL the other night that wanted to come but did not have a car or a co-driver I'm sure we can find you someone to navi for you.

I smell a challenge. my money is on Riz600 Just because his team was one of the few not to get lost the last rally. Now keep in mind this event IS more difficult then the previous rallies. I did Just pre-run in the sentra and after the torrential rain I only had to adjust for 2 possable waterholes, both of which had bypasses so we are good...

el drifto mucho,

depending on the car S-techs tend to be pretty low but there is plenty of driftable hard packed roads on this course. (I'd say 80 miles or more)

the course is a little over 150 miles. a good portion of that is unpaved we will transit between "stages" on open roads. you are scored in TSD fashon where you have an average speed for a given section and you try to maintain that speed. you'll want 4" of ground clearance but most subies that are set up well have at least that. what else is there. you'll be challenged. to stay on course and to stay on time. there is no "TRACK" as rallies are run on open roads and this is the closest most people get to pro-rally. we are required to keep the speeds reasonable and prudent however there are some sections where you'll have to conterate. remember every second counts. stopping turning, red lights. so you have to really concentrate on where you can make up time. that is why it's called a Drive-X because the emphasis is placed on the driver. on a Nav-X rally the Navagator is constantly being tricked, and I don't hold those events.
