on the way to the hess on D.mabry i ran into a little blue civ. wacon older one it was a DX with a warmede over V-TEC. all though i was 2 cars behind him in traffic while changing lanes when he nailed it that car moved out pretty good. i was SLOWLY gaining but i personally dont think i would of cuaght him. its light blue with factory wheels and NO interior panels with a black bumper(front)how much power do those motors make on the average? 1.8 & 1.6 i know his was a v-tec swap i couldnt here what size though.

Heres some general numbers on some stock(no mods) 1.6 and 1.8 VTECs for your curiosity. Unfortunately the Civic TYPE-R was only sold in Japan and Europe.


1.8 DOHC VTEC Integra GSR.......170hp
1.8 DOHC VTEC Integra TYPE-R...195hp
1.6 DOHC VTEC Civic Si/Del Sol...160hp
1.6 DOHC VTEC Civic TYPE-R......185hp

that car huals in my opinion granted im not in the up & up with fast imports. but it looked pretty fast to me from a roll. DONT kill each over this but who has the most powerful NATURALLY! aspirated import here? how much power does a motor like your buddies make with a head swap and goodies :)

Most powerful is up for debate but the fastest n/a Honda in town is cxcivic. Its a lowly CRX with a B18c block and Im sure quite a few goodies. Nobody (probably even his own Mother) knows for sure whats in it but it doesnt matter. He hauls ass. 12s on slicks I think...

Fastest NA domestic would have to be Sals 65 GTO. It will do 9s in the 1/4. Now you can debate all day on it being a street car or race car he drives on the street but he drives it from Clearwater to Shell alot. Also Sals 69 Firebird would have to be right up there as well.

I may be wrong but I would think Chriss Mustang has to be the quickest NA stang in the area.

My car is in a Ronnie Setzers ad in Makes and Models. Too bad that pic is so old. I almost forgot about those wheels. The bumpers and hood are all from a 1996 Cobra. The spoiler is Saleen S351. The motor being built now is a .040 over 302 (308 for those who dont know math). I am eagerly awaiting my pistons from Wiesco so I can start assembly. My goal is to have it running by dyno day on the 16th.
