I love my TLR, and its not the bike, I think I'm just ready to move onto a new hobbie. Something a little bit more family friendly. Something I'm less likely to die doing.

Anyway, my wife doesn't want me to sell it, but....

1999 TL1000R 40K miles on the speedo ( its been 1 tooth down for about 12K miles, which is appox 20% increase, but call it 40K miles anyway ).

I bought it in really good condition, never dropped, and I honestly think that all the prevous owners were more into cruising down South Florida Ave. Looking cool on it, vs actully learning how to ride it.

Anyway, I dumped it on a South run about 3 months ago. I've never stopped riding it to work everyday, and the damage is extremely minor. From 20ft away you can't tell at all. Brand new battery ( like 2 month old, and I have the old one that lasted 4 years still too ).

Its bone stock other than the carbonfiber yosh pipes, and one tooth down on the front spocket.

I've never had one single issue with the motor, tranny, drive train on this bike at all, and I still don't. I currently ride it to work everyday still. I've been daily riding it for 3-4 months now with no issues other than the clutch lever that I fixed ( the pin was chewing up levers on the inside ). Comes with a Shoei helemt.

I bought it for $4500 last Nov. It sat for 4 months when I lost the key. And I've put 7K miles on it since then. I want to get $3500 for it. Pics of the tiller (http://www.shutterfly.com/view/pictures.jsp)

Also, I would be willing to trade for some type of 4x4 truck/suv ( smaller the better ), but its going to need to run, have working 4wd, and be street legal.

I can't let the Tiller go until next week, I hope to finish building and installing the SRT4 motor this weekend.

Just PM me if interested, its the best way.

Yea, I'll try to take a pic of it tomorrow. Being I daily ride it ( like EVERYDAY, rain or shine for the last 4 months ), it stays kinda dirty lately. No since it washing and waxing it, when I have to ride it to work in the rain the next day.

This is the total of the damage where the dirt got me, hahaha. I've never seen a bike come out of a "drop" so nicely.

It knocked this lense of the front turn signal, but it still lights up the same

And it somehow shook the other lense off the tail light too. One had already come off, but the other one didn't come off till the sand issue. Again, they still light up red. And yea, my tag is out of date. This whole time, I've been riding the bike 100% illegal. Mostly b/c I work nightshift and have kids. I can't leave them at home or carry them with me to the DMV. I guess it doesn't matter anymore...

Can ya tell this bike is ridden in the rain ? haha. Cleans right up though, it has like 9000 layers of wax on it.

Thanx George, I didn't know you got on TR.
Yea, everyone says that I'm going to regret it. My wife even wants me to keep it, but after 4 months solid of riding everywhere I got, rain or shine, weither I want to or not, I'm feeling like I'm 60 years old.

My wife just Veto'd the trade for a full size Bronco.... Gotta do what the boss says....

One thing is for sure, the sportbike guys are way way different then the street car guys. I've never meet a group of people so caring and willing to help each other out. A few car guys are great people, but most aren't willing to go the extra 30 miles to help someone out. I have a few car friends that are great, but almost all bike guys are almost dieing to help with just about anything.
