pay for me to swap my 6-bolt in my car, and you can have my 7 bolt.

Ive got a 7 bolt bottom end. Needs one piston, and an oil pan. Im thinking somewhere around $250-$300? We can work something out. Call me at 727-504-4802
I have the head too. Im pulling it all out on Wed, and putting in a 6bolt. Let me know

But i can guarantee it has low miles and runs good.I bought it less than 4 months ago and put a whole 100 miles on it.Good luck i tried finding 6 and 7 bolt longblocks and had a hard time or they wanted too much for a high mileage motor.I have one with a spun bearing.:D

well i dont mean the whole swap, im already about to pay to put the 6-bolt head on my 7bolt block for now, because i couldnt afford to drop in the whole 6 bolt motor. all i was saying was for the extra...
...you're right lol nevermind. sorry i cant help you. I could sell you the 7-bolt head around mid-november if you havnt found anything by then
edit: sorry, i just read that you only wanted bottom end

7-bolts are not getting scarce... unless jerry can convince the world that 7-bolts are just as strong if not better than 6-bolts.

Trust me I like that people think the 6 bolt is better. That keeps the price of 7 bolts cheap. Stock block record for 7 bolt is up to 680whp.
Funny thing to me about the whole debate is that crankwalk takes 50k miles to happen. 95% of people making a fast dsm never keep it running longer than a few thousand miles before they give up and part out. So why do we even worry about it?

i have about 116,000 miles on my 7-bolt, and its still runs great. my car has some tuning and wiring issues, but mechanically everything is well.
except for the water pump, its about to crankwalk any day now.
