im gonna have to call BS on the job offer, but good luck with the wall.
The guy offering the job was probably browsing through these forums and it just snapped in his head, "THIS is the guy with just the right kind of retarded imagination I need to appeal to the inbred wigger hicks in my town! The LAST demographic I've been struggling with!"

if youve never worked in a production shop i wouldn't move out of state for a job. you may find out you don't like it, or you may not be as knowledgeable as he thought, or fast enough ect. usually in a production shop you get paid commission so if its not something you've don't every day then you probably wont make the kind of money hes promising starting out. my first year working i actually lost money buying all the tools i needed to do my job efficiently. but once you get a system down and you have all the tools to make the job easy and efficient....then the money starts rolling in. just make sure you never sacrifice quality for speed. speed will come with time, yes you will make less money but if you get used to cutting corners it will become a evil habit and tarnish you name as a installer. im sure anyone who has worked commission will agree with that

i know of 3 shops looking for full time installers, but you have to know what your are doing! i am not talking about installer who just put radios and speakers in but full custom - complete car reworks, fiberglass, custom circuit boards, that kind of work, and i was surprised they are starting to pay now in Florida!
