same here man!!!! i think that is the ultimate noob car question a person can ask... usually when some idiot asks me that i just give them some rediculous # and they'll be like "whoa cool".

i used to get that all the time when i was selling dirtbikes and atv's.... "well, how fast does this thing go?" like im supposed to figure out an offroad vehicles top speed and 1/4 mile time with no type of speed sensor or anything............. :SMACK:

Remember though......that is usually coming from someone that knows very little about cars.
For that type of question I always give the "it's a wagon.......what do you think"
"thats just a extra large radiator up front b/c I pull my boat with this thing"

i tell them i run 12's in 1/4 and top out around 150mph.

when i first got my sti i opened my hood to show some kids, i pointed at my alternator and said it was my turbo, they belived me.

i usually get "is that your FMIC?" while they're pointin at my oil cooler.
