okay every one, i need to ask you guys something. I recently did a trade with chomodrifter. I traded him my brides for his seats and he gave me $400. Now he wants to trade everything back because he beleives he has been ripped off. I mean this sucks because i sent andrew my money for the tranny. Pretty much broke and now i have to deal with this.

I mean wtf, why would you come to my house look at the seats and say yes lets trade. then the next day say you want to trade back!??:mad:

Realize this people that I found out the seats were fake after i bought them.
I understand he sold the money so I told him he can keep the 400 if I get my stock seats back because I dont want fake hsit in my 25K car. I showed you the link of how they are fake and they are made of Acantara material which Bride doesn't produce. I have offered him to keep the 400 since he need it to get his car back on the road. I just need my seats back.
He said he needs a seat to drive around I offered him the passenger Bride to have since it fits his car and not mine. But I am looked at as the one that is being a dick. Come on look at both point of views not just your buddys.

Isn't the whole point of Carfax/VIN reports to find out the status of the car BEFORE the purchase? That would be nobody's fault but the buyer. Is it shitty? Yeah. But it's the buyer's obligation to protect him/herself.

Like I said before I think both parties are partially at fault to some degree and they should work something out between themselves to come to a mutual agreement.

Yes you check the VIN when you buy the wrx, but the wrx shouldn't be advertised as an STi if it's not (Ignorance is not an excuse). That's the responsibility of the seller...accurate representation of a product they're selling.

So, the seller should have advertised properly (if it's not original) and the buyer should have researched ahead of time. They're both at fault and should both be accountable.

It doesn't get any simpler than that.
