Of course it is. Whats some good sites to get some tips and tricks on dslr's and shooting all around. This is my 1st dslr. I think I took too big of a step up from my old canon a620 :lol:

I hate you too mars :lol:

I started looking at the xti's and the 30d was a much better buy spec wise money wise and lens wise.. but they were out so a few more $$$ picked up the 40d. Im sure its too much camera for me but I Feel Im learning it a tad bit. Took close to 500 shots last night just fucking around with settings and what not

well just think, in the long run you wont have to step up. for a VERY long time.

now just start saving for glass cause if you thought this was an expensive buy, look into some L-glass, and you might poop your pantalones :D

I bought the 30D on May 5th before the 40D was released!!! I'll trade you if you want the 30D instead (with the wide angle lens):lmao:

I'm really close to buying the 70-200 2.8L IS glass Its around $1600-$2000

Im in the middle of backing up my laptop and its giving me some problems with the pics I took with the cam. I think I lost them :mad: Give me a few more... Ill go take a night shot of the car or something

Your 40D> My 30D :(

Its a lot for a 1st time DSLR Camera! <~ But atleast you wont out-grow it in a few months!
