it never actually ran. they couldnt get it to work.

unfortunately, i dont think they can try again with an 8-cylinder. i think the engines have to be V's. Either way it wouldnt be practical in a modern F1 car.

they did run it. i think they originally had a flat-8 and they tried to adapt the concept to a 12 cylinder and failed


read jackie stewarts biography a few years back and was surprised at how garbage the engine was.

I've driven a 5.0L flat 12 myself and the engine was crap too...it was a ferrari bb512
