i got the chance to get the motor out sunday. since the 7afe is smaller then 5sfe/3sgte pulling it was a breeze. took 4 hours including breaks and random phone calls. i had 2ksnakater come over for a few and assist me with a few things that i needed two people to do. only celica motor i'll take out from the top btw...

what i think happend is the rod bolts snapped and everything seemed to just go kaboom after that in every which way lol. i can see where the bolt snapped too. tis a shame.
here is in the front of the motor just to the right of the exhaust manifold. thiere is one of my rods sticking out of the motor lol.

heres a hole i found in the back of the motor underneath the intake mani

and this is the bottom of the block. oil pan is just fine :)

should have the replacement motor by the end of the week. shouldnt take but a few hours to get that back in.
