especially the older ones, with the older corvettes...well, except Half Fast.
im really beginning to think there is some compensation issues they need to confront.
anywho, I went for a stroll in the rx7 just to stretch her legs a little since i havent had any time to drive it the last few months. Im rolling out down 22nd turning onto tyrone blvd and i catch the 66th/tyrone light. Im just sitting there minding my own business, really admiring how quiet the exhaust is on the car now, when this like late 80's early 90's vette rolls up on me. I really pay it no mind, but then he revs on me...and revs again....and one more time...finally i cant ignore him anymore and i look over. He says "She sounds great doesn't she?!" to which my reply was "No it doesn't, it sounds like you have flowmasters on it. Quit being an attention whore". So of course, the typical response to my polite demeanor was "Fuck you and your slow piece of shit rice box"....so my reply..."Slower than what? that stock V8 POS you are trying to pass off as a corvette?"
So now he seems pretty livid and our light is about to turn green. this dude puts the car into neutral and revs it up and is holding it at some rpm, the light goes green and he neutral drops it into drive. im already rolling out of the light easy and i just hear his tires screeching away behind me. It takes him a little minute to catch back up to me and he yells over "You see that? this car has raw power."...and i said "If im slow, why are you the one trying to catch up with me?"...he continued to do rolling neutral drops to get me to race and he finally pulled a ricer flyby and i put it down into 2nd, opened the cutouts, and put like 3-4 cars on him before i even got out of 2nd and that was that.

Everytime I see a vette I usually try and guess his age with another person in the car and once I see his face. My passenger and I agree on a mutal age they could be and see who was closer. lol. I'd say about 85% are old men. Good kill. -Mark

my brothers 28 or 29 and has a z06 with some serious work done performance wise (he didnt do it himself, he bought it like it just because he got a deal on it and wanted one, and he doesn't act like that at all. im not saying your rx7 is slow but im sure he would leave you behind, but hes not the kind of person to sit and rev it up. i guess some people just never grow up :dunno:
