Some Track Kills (viper+exotics)

So i finally got to go to the track down here in houston (the real track) and was quite humbled by what was there. Besides the 7s track cars and pro stock monsters there were 2 shelbys, a hennessy venom 700, must a been a ferrari meet or something cause there was like 10 of them and few other nasty sounding cars along with 4 or so c5 Z06s and 2 C6 Zs. 2 of the c5s had 408s and spray and another was procharged.

My first run was with the Viper and thank god he didnt have drag radials. I murked him out of the hole and on the tree and was about 5 cars out by the 1/8th and had him by about 3 at the end of the quarter. I get back and the guy was like damn do you spray out of the hole or soemthing, im like nah its just my bad ass intake. Well turned out he ran a 12.4x @ 134 lol.

The rest of the night I was picken on the exotics that were without driver mod. Ferraris taht run 13s and 14s are quite sad, I tried to talk to them but got the turned up nose. One of them said something about my car so I got to fire off so they could all hear "shit for the amount you guys paid, I would have hoped it came with driving lessons":lol: It was not appreciated.

The Shelbys were a quite a bit better, both were modded, bolt ons and such and one had a 75 shot or so, guy didnt really say, but seemed like it with the ET changes. The one with the shot was running right around the same time as me while he was spraying maybe a bit faster. He asked to line up so I said sure to the amusement of his friends who im pretty sure were talking some shit. It was ok though I caught him on the tree and proceeded to kill him out of the hole. We got back and he was like well Ill spray you now and we'll see what happens, lol. 2nd run I hit the juice and still put 2 cars on him, needless to say he wasnt happy and it didnt help his friends were raggin on him now. He was running right about 11.6-11.7 on the spray.

Maybe some "other" track stories later if I have time.

Nice kills in the goat. Always fun when you hand someone in a ferrari their ass, and all they can do is talk shit. Then you kindly remind them that just because their's has a horse on the badge doesn't mean it comes with driving ability.

Good job, just proves that just because you can afford it doesn't mean you can drive it.

I saw a silver GTO, '05 or '06, yesterday at a light making left when I was going right, anyway, it had nice deep sounds coming from the pipes with the cam playing a really sweet tune. It sounded so nice I had to stop and listen to it for a few seconds before making my turn.

Best time wasnt all that great 11.72@118.8 on a crap 60'. I figure if I can hit a low 1.7 like I normally do I should be able to get into the 11.50s. The car is on a nitrous tune thats about 40hp off what the regular tune was.

I tried to spray it but it didnt like so much like it and I got bad oil pressure and warnings. still ran a 11.42@124.8 on another 1.85 60'. My best 1/8th is a 7.26@98.6 at the 1/8 mile track, i really wasnt anywhere near that at the quarter. And then i got yelled at told to stop spraying.

The car definately trapped higher back in Tampa when I raced danny on the juice. I think ive actually got maybe a spun bearing that just hasnt completely died yet and thats why the I only got 6 mph on a 100 shot.

The cars down for a few weeks now though dropped it off at Horse Power Engineering here in houston, getting a much larger cam put in, electric cut outs to get rid of the exhaust back pressure issue, the trans and stall refurbed cause it doesnt like to shift on the spray and finally a tune.

Ive been told that they should be able to get at least 525 off the spray, so that there is a 80hp increase from the 445 ive been running with now.

Only thing was that I didnt have to worry about getting kicked out like I do here. this track is run very much like gainesville, real tech in and the were already busting my balls just cause I was using nitrous.
