How many photos are you upto?

Ive pretty much kept all the photos ive ever taken since I started. My folder is up to 88,000 or so

ive got aboout 50k from film and digital

im not sure, i have em all in different folders so i'd be hard for me to count em all...but im sure its up there, not including all the pics i took, and then deleted haha

I'm just shy of 11k with my D50. My prevoius point and shoot likely has many more.

This make for an interesting question though. As of the last 6 months or so I've tried to focus on shooting only shots that I visualize before I put the camera up to my eye. Previously I just put the camera up to my eye and shot away hoping that I would get a few shots... which obviously meant WAY more shots. Lately I go out and only shoot 10-15 shots whereas before I might go out and fill a whole flash card.

Well the shot counter on my current XT ive had for almost 2 years is at about 80k.

If you had to guess, what is your ratio of 'keeper' shots vs junk?

define keeper and it depends on the on subject and the setup or whatever you wanna call it.

well from all of yesterday, i went to the track (1320 night) and was working on y panning shots and so forth, i took about 127 or so, and deleted almost 58 i think.

usually if i get some decent shots off, i'll end up using about half...

A keeper is any shot you're happy with, one that you would actually show people [that are not into photography].

well if i dont like how it looks then and there i'll delete it. then if i think its something thats ok, an di might be able to do something with it, then i'll hold onto it, then once i get them loaded and see them blown up, i'll finally decide
