Had some metal stuck in my eye over the weekend and it got real bad today. Didn't know it was metal until the doctor pulled it out. Fuckin hurts. He used a needle to pick it off my eye. any clue how hard that is to keep your eye open when you see a needle comming in it?? Sucks ass.

Sorry just had to vent.

I had a rear window blow up in my face as a kid. I almost lost an eye. Use goggles Topher......I betcha' now you'll be more careful.

Tile is the same way, I had that months ago while cutting some...Do I wear googles after that...nooooo...I should .............

^^ had that too...The DR. @ St. Lukes said that it would go away on its own in like 6 weeks. He was an eye DR. not and ER general

ceramic doesn't rust once it's in your eye though...:lol:

neither does glass....once the initial pain and irritation goes away the eye will heal itself over glass.ceramic etc..... once it doesn't hurt...you think it's all good....well your wrong...the material still can move inside the eye......eventually causing more damage.

Rust is obviously worse .....so the pain doesn't go away.....it gets worse.

be careful with eyes...like I said.I had about 10 pieces in one eye when I had an accident years ago.....luckily I went to the eye doctor..

bro it was bad, I can't lie! it was supercross/Gotor Nationals weekend...I was SOOOOOOOO miserable. I'd rather saw my arm off with a butter knife than spend three days with a piece of metal that big in my eye again!

That happened to a friend of ours, and his eye bothered him for a good month even after it was removed.

Edit* lol...the piece of aluminum was removed. Not his eye!!

well I sure hope it dont take that long, But its still all messed up The dr. said the ring rust will go on its own but he found two more pieces stuck inside my eye lid. Just great!!
