yea im still having trouble with night shoots with the lighting there

o and as for the shitty pics of the bikini contest, the dj sucked and right in the middle of top 8 he started the bikini contest and i didnt have enough time to get off the track and go all the way around to get pics

I agree someone needs to fix the timing with all the events. Oh the dj? the music was abit loud. If your not going to let the girls dance to the hiphop is it needed?

timing as in, time of day or, timming of runs and stuff?

There are some great shots in there. Daytime shots have great color/saturation.

What are you using for a camera? Were you using ISO1600?

What are you using for a camera? Were you using ISO1600?

sony h7... i was on adavanced sport setting since i wasnt using a tripod... the ISO i left on auto so yea i think next time in gonna mess with it to see if i can get it to come out clearer... i wasnt happy with alot of the pics

Youmight find that you get better pictures if you set the ISO manually at 200-400 (your pics look like they were at 800 when they got really noisy). Crank up the aperture as high as it will go (2.8 on your cam, according to iEXIF) and let the camera change just the shutter speed. Your shots should be pretty consistent that way, and hopefully that will keep the noise down.

I personally hate auto iso on my camera, it seems as if it's always cranking up the ISO and introducing noise when it's not needed.

the next event is at the end of october. on the 26th. it is going to be a halloween organized event so be baller and drift in a costume.

We had a set schedual and it all went to hell, owner of the track started throwing things in at weird times, Car show/bikini contest were supposed to be used as fillers while the judges were calculating scores. But we see how well that went, next time we will just have to rely on good old demos

stock motord 240s with coilovers and a welded diff can get yoou going good. there not bad for beginners and can actually keep up with competion (non tandeming),
