I feel offended you didn't send him to us like you have your other buddies (j/k). Or is this guy that cheap you are saving me the hassle? You know our prices, if he is willing to pay, give him my number or just charge him and do it yourself. If he's still too cheap, just give him a few more weeks of amp clip-he'll come around eventually!!!

PS- If the amp is bridged, check his ohm loads on each channel from the speakers-he's probably overloading it down to like one ohm or something.

MCOR,
most likely he is... he says the reason it shuts off is because it is a competition amp. im like wtf? my amp is way more built than his and mine does not even get warm or even shut off...

That's the most ass-backward comment I've ever heard. Tell him he's retarded and to start doing his own work. I guarantee you'll hear his car caught on fire sometime next month.

funny you should say that he has already had a bunch of fuse holders melt to his car...

FIRE FIRE FIRE. Love those guys...

PS: Competition amps that are made to cut out-I thought that is why we purchase good "competition style" amps-so they don't clip out? Back to selling only Pyramid and Boss I guess...

Anyway, has he gotten it fixed yet?

What size fuse is he using and what gauge wire. How many watts is the amp?

he does not need a fan - he needs to properly wire his amp!
i bet $100 his grounds have never been touched!
$50 rewire (plus parts)- and if still needs fan - i will do it for free!

Should have 0 gauge running to that, with a 0 gauge ground. If the amp don't accept, 0 gauge to a distroblock and a very short run of 4 gauge. And a very short run of 4 gauge for the ground, which should be on the frame of the car, if not at least on a solid sheet of body metal.
