Nah, i dont know who said you couldnt drive them daily but they are retarded.

The reason people don't drive them daily is because they either dont trust their work/ quality of parts, like to keep miles down, its a weekend car, etc etc.

It is, however, a good idea to have a backup car when boosting a non turbo car. Hell you should when modifying any car more than N/A bolt ons.

If you have a shop do it, or you do it (well and with quality parts), a turbo car CAN be reliable enough to be a daily and there certainly is no reason that a turbo cant handle boost every day.

But things can go wrong, blown IC pipes if you don't use Tbolt clamps, blown turbo if you dont use a quality turbo, if your signal line falls off you can overboost and hurt your engine internally, if you have a crappy tune it may not start, etc etc.

If you notice any trends if you cut corners and buy cheap parts it will come back to haunt you, but thats the way it goes with car tuning in general

Do it the right way the first time and you will be happy!

what are you going to turbo?

power, reliability and price. pick the two you want and the third one is what will hurt you.

before you start spending cash i would suggest doing a ton of research. there are tons of problems associated with turboing specific engines and or engine managment interface issues.
