Mike, that way takes forever. I take 301 to Fowler, to I-75, to I-4, to I-275, to the Veterans...sounds long, but it's the fastest way.

i'll start off by saying that you have a much better camera then me.:lol:

here it is. it's just an average 75gal. tank. i've got kind of an oriental theme going on right now. we just put all that stuff in to replace the last setup we had (roman theme), so there's still air lines all over the place. the heater and one of the bubble curtains is lopsided. it's obviously not done yet, but i was in the process of setting it up saturday morning when we had to rush off to the hospital... it's the best i've got at the moment.

the list of fish that i've got:

3 dragon fish
1 7" placo
1 4" placo
4 5"+ bala sharks
2 full grown (5") angle fish
2 4" spotted catfist
1 5" south african featherfin catfish
1 3" south african featherfin catfish
2 4" ghost knifes
1 8" freshwater stingray
3 3" green spotted puffer fish
1 6" needle fish

i think we paid about $80 for him. he's definitely cool though. we get a lot of compliments on him.

Turbo, does that stingray guy bother anybody? I can't remember what I read about them, but I remember thinking it wouldn't work with what I've got..either my fish or my plants..not sure.

Yeah, but dropping in two dozen feeder fish and watching the carnage with a sort of sick entertainment is. :crack:

I had an aggressive tank, I had a pair of tiger Oscars or something that were the same size and they were pretty cool - got along for the most part. I put in some kind of Albino Ciclid or Oscar or something and they messed him up, though.

Goddamn racist colored fish.

Best I ever saw though was some Beta get rammed across a fishtank by a sharkfish it puffed up to. I swear, if I had a videocamera on that it would've been captioned and sigged. It was like a royal bitchslap.

Fish World on Waters has some big ass oscars and jacks. Gorgeous! They have some MASSIVE red bellied Pacu's, too.

i really like jacks and cichlids in general, but they're too mean for my tank.

he doesn't bother anyone at all. he's a bottom feeder. the only pain in the ass with them is that you have to feed them live food. ghost shrimp have turned out to be the best option. it's expensive though. all the fish in the tank will go after them too, so we end up going through a ton of them... and they're not cheap.
