Is there a need for a oil regulator on the oil feed line?
I know that some RX7 guys need one due to high oil pressure within their rotary motor, but how bout SR's?

its pretty much a given that engine oil pressure is too high for a turbo you need an oil restrictor

Well it also depends on where your tapping oil from, dont just assume the pressure is too high, you can physically test your location for oil pressure or you can do research on what the pressure will be on certain locations to make it clear whether you will need a restrictor.
My engine you can tap from the block but you'll need a restrictor as the pressure is very high. But if you tap from the head when warm, idle pressure sits around 20-15 psi, 25 or so during hard acceleration. Which is ideal for a turbo feed and used commonly.
I have the same turbo btw, good stuff.
If you're running ball bearing turbo a oil restrictor is a must.. But if you're running regular thrust bearing turbo with a -3 line on an SR it'll be fine unless you go -4 or bigger. i run -3 and no restrictor on my garrett t3/t4

He didnt mention a BB so im pretty sure it's a journal bearing.
Just do your research/testing on where your tapping, its not fun to ruin a 700+ dollar turbo because you didnt want to buy a $5 part. Or because you put too small of a restrictor on a tap providing 15psi of pressure delivering 3 psi to a journal bearing.
Cant be too careful.
