So, I found a few J30's at a salvage yard and I want to know exactly what parts I need to pull off in order to do a 5 lug conversion (for S13) aswell as the LSD & related parts I need with it. Any kind of tutorial..With pics would be sweet..Though, I would be happy with a parts list..That way I dont take & pay for stuff I do not need. Also, Some kind of list of tools that I will deffinately need would be great..Any help is appreciated! :crack:

i believe you can use the whole rear subframe of the J30 on the S13, diff axles subframe, and the rear five lug.

Rear 5-lug is a press-in bearing rather than the bolt-in bearing - they're worthless.
Get the MAF too.

He's talking 5 lug, you need the axles if you grab the diff.

Ok, So I should just get the axles and the diff..But not the components for 5-Lug? Using the J30 diff & axles with 240 5 lug hubs? - Or can I just use the diff & axles with the stock 4 lug hubs?
Basically at this point, I just want to do LSD..Lug conversion isnt important to me right now. What do I need for that?

You want LSD grab the diff and axles. Make sure you keep all the bolts and little rubber donuts when you pull it!

theyr are no front axles silly willy.
you need a huge ass socket, a 36 i think on a breaker bar(for where the axles bolt on to the hub assembly). a medium socket wrench with long ass extension with a 12 socket and two, 12mm open ends(for where axles connect to diff). and a 14 socket, and a 17 also. and then i would use the breaker bar to drain the diff cause they're heavy and u should change it anyway.
i guess you could get the MAF also, like the one guy said, for the MAF i would bring an 8, 10, Phillips, flap head and cutting pliers.
i always bring extra stuff so you don't get stuck.
o bring you a dirty towel to lay on.

The only way you can use the J30 in aid of your 5 lug conversion is to use the entire rear subframe. This has been done before, again, you will need the entire subframe, ebrake cables, etc.......
