Are they good buys? I mean they have a 10year/100,000 mile warranty so why not right?


What is the deal? I can pick one up for around 10k... a rio base.. That is a cheap deal..

 

Hyundai was junk at first, but they have taken MASSIVE strides since their creation, and I would drive one without worrying about irs reliability.

I know nothing about Kias.

 

In my little research the toyota yaris is actually cheaper than the hyundai car..

 

Bleh, I don't like new Toyotas. They're had an unsatisfactory amount of quality control issues.

 

You are buying a car for a warranty... does that answer your question?

 

I owned a kia spectra for exactly a year before being totalled in a wreck.Car was very solid but had 2 issues:
The gas door didnt open once in a while when i pulled the latch.
The tranny started slipping a week before it was wrecked(36k miles)

Other than that the car was great.Big backseat.

 

Dad had a 99 hyundai accent and it ran for 200k before it was donated to charity. We'd prolly still have it to this day if I wasn't in the desert during the move from delaware to florida. It didn't have a single issue during the whole 200k. All he had to do was put gas in it and change the oil. The two years of High School that I drove it I beat the shit out of it. Burnt through many a set of tires. Ugly as fuck IMO but will run forever...

my mom had a sonota 5spd it was pretty decent car, for the ammount of stuff they give you with it, its definitly worth the sticker, that being said alot of other cars are also worth about the same. I say test drive ftw.

 

Reliable cars. Not only is the warranty awesome but the car will last you a looong time. There's an Accent here that has more then 300K and still runs fine

Hyundai makes Kia..so their the same thing. I'd get the Accent though because I think it looks better then the Rio..but engine wise etc. their the same.
