Just imagine being an important part of a child’s life? Well you can! Let me share with you the story of Baby Trevor. He was born with four congenital heart defects. None of which were detected before birth. The most severe being a rare heart defect known as Truncus Arteriosus. He also had a Hypoplastic Aortic Arch, Ventricular Septal Defect and Atrial Septal Defect. He underwent open heart surgery when he was just nine days old. Today, he is thriving. He is three months old and has overcome many obstacles. With out the generous funds raised each year for the American Heart Association, Trevor’s surgery may not have been possible. We need your help, please join TREVOR’S ALLSTARS and walk with us! If you are not local, you can still help! By becoming a virtual walker for our team and help us reach our fundraising goal.

The American Heart Association continues to work to help make a difference in the lives of people like Trevor. Each and every person affected by heart defects and disease has reason to hope because great advances are being made.

Everyone knows someone affected by heart disease or stroke. For our son, we will be walking in this year’s Heart Walk. We have set a personal goal to raise funds for the American Heart Association and need your help to reach our donation goal. We are raising critical dollars for heart disease and stroke research and education. We are looking for at least 15 fundraising walkers to join our team, please sign up today (https://www.kintera.org/faf/home/waiver.asp?ievent=222629&lis=1&kntae222629=5D27094859CA41AAA6400667075543A1&jt=2168445&teamsName=Trevor%27s+ALLSTARS). The Heart Walk is November 10, 2007 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL.

You can help us reach our goal by making a donation online (https://www.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=222629&lis=1&kntae222629=5D27094859CA41AAA6400667075543A1&supId=187984038). Click on the link below and you will be taken to our personal donation page where you can make a secure online credit card donation. The American Heart Association's online fundraising website has a minimum donation amount of $25.00. If you prefer to donate less, you can do so by donating to paypal@tamparacing.com and we will compile the donations and donate on behalf of TR.

Your donation will help fight our nation’s No. 1 and No. 3 killers—heart disease and stroke. You are making a difference. Thank you for your support.

Heart Hugs,
Zate and Sarah
Proud Parents of Trevor

At 6 months old I had closed heart surgery for Ventricular Septal Defect; Congestive Heart Failure where a Pulmonary Artery Banding was preformed by Dr. Weinberg and a wonderful team of doctors.

Then at 2 years of age I had open heart sugery.

The stuff they were doing to me back then on May 11, 1971 and on was pretty advanced and led to advancements for future surgeries.

I hope I am able to be there to walk but so far it does not look like I will be able to do so. I hope my donation can be of further assitance towards the advancement of medicine in this field.

All the best to you and your family.

I was there with my hospital and it was a good turn out. I posted on here a topic a while ago but it kinda went away pretty quickly. Do it every year and its always worth a donation if you cant make it out.

Oh you can still donate at their website even though the event is over.

If anyone is interested let me know i can send you in the right direction.
