So we are coming home from baseball practice in the horrible storm yesterday in the Infiniti.
This car has a overly touchy traction / stability control system that I usually disarm in city driving.
On the ride home and coming out of a light I left out a little to quick because of a merge lane and got into some wheel hop. I just drove through it and kept on going.
From the back seat I hear from my eight year old son, " felt like some wheel hop there dad." :-o
I quickly commended him on noticing that, chuckled to myself, and he went back to playing with his Etch-A-Sketch. I might have a monster on my hands in a few years.

That is soooo cool. My daughter does stuff like that to me but she's ten. Not much older. I am not sure if she just humors me or if she is really interested in cars.
P.S. Amanda she loves your car.

He was drawing a picture of double adjustable control arms for his daddy. The Etch-a-sketch is a good thing. :-)

Those have been on my car since you were getting tardies in grade school because you were to busy playing with your special purpose.

Let me ask you this.. If your son ends up being into rice, will that be the equivalent of being .ay? If so, can you accept him for it?
Then if you do, and go to import car shows with him, is that like going to a .ay pride parade with your kid?
Sorry, couldn't resist! :)

I know the feeling.. my son is 2 and ahalf.. and is obsessed with "daddies car" .. he points out STi's (and WRX's) to my wife all day long.. drives her crazy... and asks me every night to drive in daddies car with daddies music (Metallica, And Justice For All).
We go for a cruise on the weekends.. he grins from ear to ear.. bangs his head to the music and screams "weeeeeeeee!!" when i get on it or take a corner quick.. lol.
He's been all about cars, trucks and planes since day one.
Scott, your son still throw a mean baseball ?.. i remember i was most impressed when you were helpin me with that exhaust leak on the mach1.

He points out rice and laughs often, I think I am o.k.. But rice shows do have way better women so if he for some reason if he goes that route it may not be to bad. :D

Holy shit Zate good memory, I forgot about that !
That was at least four years ago ? And yes especially for his smaller size at eight he throws real hard. Much better than kids a few years older than him. :D

this is way OT - but I must say... When I was a kid, girls didn't look like they do now. It's pretty much the only thing that makes me feel old as the hills.. :(
