Sr20det Head gasket, to do or not to do??
I thought I would check with you guys first before jumpimg into this. I've rebuilt a Starion engine in my kitchen
It was summer. I've replaced a clutch or 3 in my drive way, Replaced a head gasket on a Cordia Turbo, Installed a Greddy Twin turbo kit on Dads 350z, but the SR thing is all new to me. I've had a factory service manual to help guide me through my projects, but without one on a SR20det, I'm a little nervous to attempt this. Is this something I should have done or is it possible to do myself? If possible to do myself, where can I get real good information to attempt this? Engine is not in car and everything is off the engine. I would like to change it out myself if at all possible. Reason being is My wife and I had our first child last week and the hospital bill emptied my savings accout.
