PCA Event in Zephryhills Sept.9th

There is a PCA event at the Z-hills airport Sept. 9th.

Yes, Z-Hills is back after a 3 month summer break.
I talked to Ralph and we will be setting it up as usual.
My plan is to have the GRM$2007 car there on Sunday.

I'm thinking about joining the PCA so I can do ride alongs.
Unfortunately they are the only car club I know that makes you buy a car before you can join. Anyone got a Porsche for sale for about $1.

I plan on making it out. This will be my 1st event in my Civic, hopefully my roommate and our friend are also going to be able to come out.

Free to come out and watch, but everyone has to sign the Insurance waiver.
Still no need for an sign up list like Brooksville requires.

No course design to post because I have not gotten it approved, and Ralph may have his own ideas.

I was thinking the same. I think the closest I ever came to Danny was when I let him take a run (one single run) in my car and he beat my be half a second.

yea I put in a 25mm front sway bar and I had to relearn the car again. The bar upset the nice balance I had in the car. I have a 25mm rear bar that I will put in and see if I can regain the neutral balance once again. I still need to work on being smooth, ugh its been 10 months since I had the car out there and forgot how slippery the course is.

After Danny went for a ride with me on my last official run he took my car out during a fun run and got a 48.xx. So after seeing what he could do with my car which made me happy, I took it out again and ran a 50.xx. :D Wish that could have been one of my official times.

Enjoyed the course set up and the seat time. Nice getting to talk with you Josh, hope you are able to correct the balance issue with the rear sway bar.

I'd like them to start promptly at 10 and will make an effort to see that happen in the future. I think we just started with the novice walk through to late. Sorry to those who had to wait a bit.

Excellent driving Josh. I'm always impressed with your ability in a N.A. car.

I knew CHI Town easily had a 50.xx in her.
Glad to see it happen, even if it was a little late.

I had a Blast in my $1,106 GRM Fiero.
(Did the brakes yesterday, so add $21.40. Now it stops, Woo Hoo!)
My best raw time was a 46.2, but I coned on every run. Just really glad to see what the car could do. Danny said he would drive it at the GRM Challange, so that should delete the cones.

OH! One last thing. Danny Sheilds deserves everyone's thanks.
Not only did he give tons of instructional runs during the event, but he stayed during fun runs just to give more FREE instructions. Great guy.

yes the tribeca 25mm sway bar fits the RS with some modification to the sway bar bushings. Turn in is so much more precise. A bit of understeer when pushed hard but I have a bigger rear bar going in.
