Now this is just my experience. As a customer.
I have been through the ringer with my car. 3 shops, 4 other people that "helped me" and more money than I ever should have spent on an integra. I could have bought a lotus in cash by now with all the money I have spent over the last 2 years.
The last shop my car was at was having some serious client service issues and I was nervous about things getting worse, not to mention my car had been there for 7 mo without much going on with it.
I placed a few calls to DC and Ian and his staff kinda came to my rescue. They went and liberated my car and brought it back to their shop(which is really really nice). They then went over it with a fine tooth comb to find out what was worng with it and the list was extensive.
I had to reevaluate what I wanted the car to be and if I wanted to continue with it or scrap the whole thing. I was totally disenchanted with the whole thing becuase of the time/energy/money put into it. Especially after they told what I needed to do to get it right. Read not cheap.
Ian was supportive and would have helped me go in any direction, including selling the car which I really did but didnt want to do.
He gave me a bunch of options and helped me figure out something that would fit my budget,
Well i decided to man up and give them the go ahead to do what needed to be done. I had reservations in the back of my mind because of all the other promises that had been made and broken by other places.
They gave me a detailed qoute, and some suggestions on what needed to be done so I could have the car the way i envisioned in my little head.
And then a magic thing happened I started to see progress, in a day or 2 the engine was out, the bay was repainted, the parts were ordered and things were happening. Plus they called me and told me what was going on.
I am impressed at how they really take time to figure out what I was looking for, and they listened and made suggestions and really treated me nicely. Now it may have been because I spent a few hundred dollars with them, cause I am baller like that but i doubt it.
Ian and his staff seem like class people. For every 1 negative story a shop has there are probably 20 successes that never get talked about, so I just wanted to post up and say Thanks. I appreciate it.
If you were at the DC open house mine was the blue/silver stripped teggy on the lift.
Dc is cool folks, find out for your self. I am glad as hell I called them.
