drifting info

hey guys i was wondering if some of you could help me out. I write for my schools newspaper and im the editor for the automotive page and for this issue i decided to write a story about drifting and how it is becoming prety popular in the bay area . Im not talking about illegal drifting or any of that , im talking about actuall drifitng sesions like the once at desoto. Any information would be appreciated basically i just need to know when it started getting popular, what some of the msot heard of people are, what are the events people look forward to and so on. Also if you guys have any good pictures , if you could send them to me it would be greatly appreciated as well and they might end up on the paper, of course the credit would go to who ever took the picture.
